The Todman Stakes, often still referred to as its previous name the Todman Slipper Trial, is one of the Sydney Turf Club’s leading Group 2 races for two-year-old colts and geldings.
Run over a 1200m sprint distance under set weight conditions, the Group 2 Todman Stakes is conducted at the iconic Rosehill Gardens Racecourse in March during the annual Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

Prior to 2005 the Todman Stakes was known as the Todman Slipper Trial as it is the traditional lead-up race for young colts and geldings looking for a start in the prestigious Golden Slipper.
